Admission
Payment can be made in cash or by credit card. (Credentials will be checked at the ticket office and the corresponding valid and updated identification document must be presented in each case)

General: 
¢ 5500.00  International visitors (Discount applicable due to temporary shut down of some areas being updated ¢3500)
¢1,500.00  Costa Ricans and Residents  (Discount applicable due to temporary shut down of some areas being updated ¢1000)

Reduced:
¢4000.00 International students
¢500.00 Costa Ricans students and residents

¢500.00 Costa Ricans and residents on Sundays throughout the year

Free Admission
Admission to the Museum is free for the following visitors:

• For Costa Ricans and Residents on Wednesdays throughout the year and during Cultural Festivals.
• Children under 12 years.
• Costa Ricans and Residents “Ciudadanos de Oro” members.  
• Members of the following associations:

ICOM (International Council of Museums)
Personnel from Central Bank of Costa Rica, SUPEN, SUGEF, SUGEVAL and their first blood relationship family members.
Official Tourist Guides.
Diplomatics.
Journalists.

(Credentials will be checked at the ticket office and the corresponding valid and updated identification document must be presented in each case. If the accreditation is not valid, you must purchase a general admission ticket, in this case the internet discount will not be applied)
