Cloakroom

  • The Museum has free cloakrooms at the entrance.
  • For security reasons, you must deposit all objects considered dangerous due to size or shape in the cloakrooms.
  • The Museum is not responsible for damages done to fragile objects inside bags and suitcases left in the cloakroom.

  • The Museum has elevators, ramps, platforms and bathrooms that are adapted for visitors with mobility impairments.
  • The Museum has free wheelchairs and canes for visitors available at all the cloakrooms.
  • Vehicles transporting visitors with mobility impairments can stop directly at the Museum’s front door, please contact + (506) 2243-4221 to give prior notice.

Golden Evening (corporate and family)
Golden Evening is a cultural tourist attraction whose main point is to show visitors pre-Columbian Costa Rican indigenous culture with a guided tour by bilingual professionals in the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum. Gold Night can be held any day of the week depending on the customer’s needs. Hours are exclusively at night, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Read more…
Foyers
The building has two foyers, ideal for holding special events such as cocktail parties, dinners and conferences. In these activities it is possible to include a tour of all the visual spaces, giving your event a distinguishing cultural scenario. Activities can accommodate a maximum of 150 people. Read more…

Tourist Information Office:
The Costa Rican Tourism Board has an office at the entrance to our building where free information is provided to our national and foreign visitors.
